STIGA Sports launches Wavy, an offensive top frame in innovative ultra fibre material

STIGA Sports takes the next step in table tennis technology with the launch of Wavy Ultra Fibre - an offensive frame that combines explosive speed with precision and stability. Introduced for the first time in the STIGA Sports range, the new ultra fibre material allows for a construction that delivers both power and control in every shot.

The advanced fibre structure is positioned just below the face layer, providing a larger sweet spot, clearer ball contact and reduced vibration - three crucial factors for high-level offensive players.

‘We've been working for a long time to develop a new material that not only maximises speed, but also maintains feel and control. With Wavy and our ultra-fibre technology, we have succeeded in creating a frame that responds exactly as the player wants - even at high speeds,’ says Felix Wirström, Head of Table Tennis at STIGA Sports.

Wavy is also characterised by its clear and crisp hitting sound, which many players use as acoustic feedback during matches. The sound not only reflects the quality of the hit, but also enhances the feeling of control and power in the game.

The frame comes in two designs:

Wavy Ultra Fibre (round shape) - for players looking for traditional balance and feel.

Wavy Ultra Fibre Cybershape - with STIGA Sports' own innovative shape that provides an optimised hitting surface and larger sweetspot higher up the blade.

Together with rubbers such as DNA Platinum, DNA Hybrid or DNA Dragon Power, Wavy offers a racquet package that meets the needs of offensive players who want to take their game to the next level - from ambitious juniors to elite level.
